Product Backlog Workshop

During the one-day interactive workshop, all requirements of the project are worked through and structured together with the participants. As a first step, a common understanding of the participants is created using different methods such as Project Canvas, which serves as the basis for the creation of the product backlog. Subsequently, the participants define epics for the overall project and determine the priorities at epic level. Based on the defined prioritization, the participants are divided into small groups (max. 2 participants) in the workshop’s further course to create user stories and bring them into a temporality (sprints).

In Brief:

  • Create a common understanding of the project and the vision

  • Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, define dependencies/restrictions

  • Jointly prioritize the backlog and plan the first sprints

Target group:

  • Product Owner
  • Scrum Master
  • Agile Coach
  • Development Team
